Functional Training is the engagement in exercises that mimic or recreate everyday movement. These types of exercises typically involve the use of your full body and multiple muscle groups. This style of training builds and sculpts lean, functional muscle – Lifting, Squatting, Jumping, Twisting, Pulling, Pushing, Punching, Kicking, Rowing, Biking – all of these movements qualify as “Functional”…and all can be found at F45 Training.
The fixed, 45 minute duration of our workouts exists to provide a timing structure to maximize our members’ growth and progress. Our daily workouts vary the amount of exercise stations, the Work Time / Rest Time ratio and the number of repetitions through the “Exercise Circuit” of each day. This provides a challenging workout for our clientele that is always evolving and never the same.
The employment of our Functional Training, Circuit workouts in a Team Training atmosphere is the final factor fueling F45 Training’s dynamism. Terrick has worked over 20 years in the health and fitness industry. He established himself first as a personal trainer and nutritionist before moving on to corporate wellness programs. In his most recent role as a Global Wellbeing & Engagement Manager he was able to turn around a sinking program and reinvigorate it in under one year’s time getting everyone involved from facilities staff all the way up to the C-suite execs. Throughout his career, Terrick has helped over 70,000+ individuals change the way they live their life via body transformations, mental, financial, and physical health coaching & wellbeing programs. He is a very passionate and strong leader ready to take F45 Training Pearland West into a realm of fitness that most gyms need to be doing daily for their members so they are engaged more and improve their discipline to have lasting results that stand the test of time.
